happy 40th anniversary mom & dad!

my parents had a tanning contest in the 3 months they didn't see each other, leading up to their July 28th wedding. It's hard to tell, but these two are tanner than tan & it looks like a tie to me! they were married at a church in albuquerque, new mexico (where my mom grew up, my dad went to college & they met) @ 8:11pm & had a reception @ my grandparent's house (pastel- dyed bread for the sandwiches & all)! they honeymooned in hawaii, moved into an apartment on sunset blvd. in pacific palisades and would soon be big winners on the newlywed game! happy anniversary to the best parents a girl could ask for!!!!
