This is just an earlier version of Meg's current weekend experiences. John Huizinger wrote the seminal text in the field of play studies, and included,"..we might call it a free activity standing quite consciously outside 'ordinary' life as being 'not serious' but at the same time absorbing the player intensly and utterly." Also refered to as the "magic circle", grown-up participants of this play activity can be viewed on this blog daily.
