This afternoon I helped host Danielle's Baby Shower at The Landing in Westlake Village, California 91361. Family and close girlfriends showered/ sprinkled Danielle with love, clever conversation and baby gifts! Baby Girl Garlock will be entering this world in the next few weeks! The gals tried to pry the baby's name out of Danielle, but she wouldn't budge!! - I know, but am not telling you!Highlights:
"Dandy Dandy Ride 'Em Nugget Nugget" - the Barbie commercial song that gave Danielle her childhood nickname "DANDY", any baby shower after your first is called a "sprinkle", Did anyone get baby hungry this morning?, plant your placenta or freeze it and thaw it on the baby's first birthday??, double p, nothing bundt cakes are rather delicious, Live Strong, The Olympics are amazing, Labor & Delivery Corsage, you should go on a date with the Kookie Krazy owner-you would be an instant step mom to adult children - which is fun, pregnancy hair dying Q & A, dearjohnnies.com, England barns, the juxtaposition of the little boy with Yao Ming was so poetic, giving your kids sunburns, the baby's name is Irish, are you sure the suburbs aren't for you?, the big 'bundt cake mishap' of 2008 and lots of breast feeding talk! Who could ask for more?
Suzette and I met up early this morning to use the paper cutter, wrap favors, hunt for keys, get the flowers, pick out our shoes, chat about our dates, transport balloons and bark orders at the restaurant staff!!!
