Tastemaking

Mia & I attended Los Angeles Magazine Tastemakers Event at Hollywood & Highland last night. Every month the magazine features one "tastemaker" - a designer or artist whose work or personal style sets a standard or trend. This art exhibit-esq party was to celebrate the top tastemakers and to get a glimpse at their talented work. If I had been the winner of the Style Star contest, I would have also had my work on display. Hub of the House owners, Carla & Karen were in attendance because my boss, Karen, and her personal kitchen will be featured in the upcoming Los Angeles Magazine Design 2008 book - a sample of this book was on display and we were dying to finally see it. It was very exciting!
