Thursday night was spent at a party to kick off the opening of Eva Longoria Parker and Tony English's new Tex Mex restaurant, BESO, in Hollywood. The place was HUGE and super sleek with TV screens playing famous Hollywood kisses - interesting. The food looked good but meat sticks were the only bit of cuisine ever offered to us, so I didn't have any. Mia and I immediately befriended "Australian/ South African main guy", "bad satin baseball jacket" & "hugging cousin" from Orange County - together we worked the crowd. Tito OR Jermaine Jackson was in attendance - knowing Jermaine lived around the corner from me in Westlake Village I set out to determine which Jackson Five was standing next to me! My approach was simple -"Have you ever lived on Rim Crest Drive?" - Jackson Five said "YES!" - I am a super talented detective! I told Jermaine he was a fantastic neighbor! - honestly, this was as awkward a moment as moments go! Highlights only Mia will get: Michael Bolton (on second thought, I think most of you can grasp this one), lice & jellyfish, Lake Bell liked my Shoe Pavillion shoes, my camera flew out of my hand and a man stepped on it, perfume that smells like men, the photographer of the gigantic shrimp/ mussel bar, lady with glitter jeans, Cuban birthday party, vodka coffee, "Is Gil here?", Bree Van De Camp's son looks like Beau, Carlos!, where's Tony Parker? and too bad my mom and I don't have an E! reality show like the Gastineau Girls where we fight over guys!
