Mia so graciously invited me to be her plus 1 at The Independent Spirit Awards Nominees Reception at Casa Del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica last night. Despite the rain, a very chic, indie crowd shined with hipness. huh?

kat - we thought this one was a little different - no hands on the hips...what type of pic are you looking for? This is my diary - when I am 98 years old, I can look back and see what I was wearing in 2008 and how much I enjoyed my one stance. Also, KAT - please see an old blog of mine where I tell you FLAT OUT that this is my new pose and I will be using it a lot! Thanks
