Friday & Saturday Nights In Review...

Hillary invited me to be her wing woman at an art exhibition where she was being "set up" with a motorcycle riding lawyer - sounds good, right? well well well, this couldn't have been further from the reality of the situation! Oh my goodness it was just terrible. After 2 minutes of idle conversation we politely excused ourselves to the bar (next to Sidney Poitier) and never looked back! After an hour of mingling with the eclectic art crowd we popped into Sushi Roku for dinner (yummy yummy - thank you Hill) and then met up with some pals for a birthday party. It was definitely a full and satisfying evening.

Jen, Mia and I made Salmon THREE WAYS on Friday night...baked, pan seared with lemony butter sauce and broiled with a mustard sauce! I was in charge of most of the Salmon dishes as Jen is teaching me to cook...They all turned out super tasty! We also had a tomato, basil & mozzarella appetizer and the most amazing salad that Mia made. This was the beginning of Girls Night with an emphasis on learning to make delicious meals. Next week is turkey meatloaf or sand dabs or chicken masala! Watch out - we will soon be gourmet chefs!Have you ever wondered what I look like when I broil Salmon? Well, this should provide you with your much anticipated visual...
We debated which of our friends should be baby Lola's godmother... Mia won by a landslide. This is the moment Jen awarded Mia with the prestigious honor - see you at the baptism!
