Whatcha Been Doin' In Tulsa?

Wednesday: Starbucks with my neighbor, post Christmas wrap up lunch (with Mom, Uncle Pete, Aunt Kathie & Morgan), shopping at Saks, wedding gift for Brooke & Peter, Dr. appointment (for a check up - not to worry, I am healthy!), Movie - Juno (didn't really like it like I predicted I would - my Dad even left in the middle of it!)

Thursday: Long day of errands, lunching and shopping: Nanette Lepore dress, Mac lipglass & lipstick - Rebel, coconut & lime lotion, Elvis Presley lunch box for Presley Garlock. Thrifting: Horse paint by numbers picture, 2 Latin botanical pictures, 1963 Mexican coin charm necklace, bowling pin, Chanel scarf, super 80's looking slip I will wear as a dress, Lacoste preppy prepster little boys belt, polka dot button down shirt, monogrammed broach (not with my initials), charm bracelet (charms include blue state of Illinois, #1 Mother and anchor), navy & purple awesome sweater, red peep toe pumps (never worn mind you...), wooden necklace, gold multi strand necklace, state memento plates (for my budding collection)...fantastic day, if I do say so myself!

Thursday Night: Brooke & Peter's "Congratulations! You are married!" party at Kerri's house (my Mom's BF) followed by a night on the town playing shuffle board & darts with the kids - Clark & I were the defending shuffle board champions, thank you very much!

Friday: Drove 2 hours to El Reno, OK with my mom to visit Garnie (my grandma). My Mom and I had the best time bonding - singing, dodging dirt & germs, Making up jingles with Garnie about a cat, checking out Garth Brook's home town, buying snickerdoodles at Braums (As Garnie says, they are very snickery!), Making up a play titled "Garnie, this is your life!", Looking for a Panera near a Baptist hospital only to find a Panera near a Catholic hospital - oops!, planning my brother's wedding, plotting out the weekend, agreeing it is wrong to tell a child to shut up, recapping shuffle board night, Rick the Indian, drive thru Starbucks (they all are out here), killing bugs and procuring furniture - lovely! We were so tired by the time we got back we went straight to bed!

Saturday: Salmon Frittata for breakfast at Wild Fork with my parents, manicure with Emily & mom, new glasses!,spaghetti, Apple stock ripens, researching Capers, Curb Your Enthusiasm book readings by my Dad, Pack to go home.

Sunday: Movie - Charlie Wilson's War (staring P.J. Byrne) then off to the airport! Hopefully my car is still there.
