highlights from my weekend include, but are not limited to: cinco de mayo (my throat hurts a little from making those ayy aye ayyyye aaayyyyyee cico de mayo noises), new tennis shoes that remind me of my grandma, gardening, lots of walter walks, the acquisition of a summer clutch purse, reunion with my nameplate necklace, a delicious dinner @ L&E oyster bar in silverlake with my boyfriend, patiently waiting for johonna to have a baby, the purchase of tortillas, a new headlight & some windshield wiper fluid, checking in with mia in kauai, shayna's 30th birthday party @ basement tavern, coffee breaks, a trip to ikea for napkins, a sprained ankle, waterworks anchor towel, nixon's birthday, flourescant pink manicure & navy pedicure, a little coconut water, missy bridal shower brainstorming session, should I go with my mom to her high school reunion? & a scoop of my favorite brown bread from scoops!

Actually, Richard Milhous was born on January 9th, and next year would mark his 100th..but he didn't make it that far, actually. Several years after he left office, he visited the Bel Air Hotel, and the doorman on duty ( that would be me) grasped his hand in welcome. That would unleash my quest to shake hands with every living ex-president, which I never did. I did kiss and hug Hillary once... which might spark a new and wierder quest if she ever wins that office.
I just got a neon pink manicure too!
