team taylor & siciliano take on the fabric district!
30 sketchy downtown LA fabric stores, 3 hours of pounding the pavement, 2 shots of espresso over ice, a weakness for houndstooth & nautical fabric, a street hot dog with mustard, major negotiation (most successful), a few near bolt cuts against our will, $9 to park and lots of high fives = 18 yards of grey wool fabric in a trash bag to reupholster our sofa! yay!

This fabric merchant looks absolutely thrilled that you came to his store. That subtle grin of his confirms that he closed the deal on, as they say, "The whole nine yards".
