dry shampoo woes
I tried dry shampoo for the first time today, right before a big client meeting (big mistake). tabatha & julia roberts recommended brands (serge normant & a name that escapes me), but of course I couldn't recall this info at le peer beauty supply & I look like I have a severe dandruff problem!!

During the make your own granola rage in the early 80s I mixed up some cornstarch, baking soda, cornmeal, and ground oakmeal in a batter bowl. As I was attempting to wedge it up on an elevated shelf in the kitchen the whole thing dumped right on my head. An extremely embarrasing moment turned light bulb genius when I realized how dapper I looked afterwards ( when I had brushed it out of my hair!). However, the prospect of anyone actually using that mixture on their head , on purpose, seemed remote so I quickly gave up on the idea, as well as the granola.
Your Mama always so emphatically said.... to always read the directions ... lots of brushing afterwards?
