wednesday- sunday recap

my parents have been visiting so you will have to excuse my lack of blogging but I have been off having a wonderful life! this week's highlights include but are not limited to: taking friday off to gallivant with the fam, montana cafe is a taylor favorite, a visit to katt for a new brown hair look & a mullet, new & wild richard simmons work out shoes from our trip to niketown - my dad loves going there in his constant quest for yellow shoes...

lots of strolling & meals in manhattan beach, looking at art, a brief stint at el carmen, a walk to sls hotel, convincing chefs not to open restaurants in the valley, visiting jen @ work for dinner, "no no fine dining" can be taken so many ways, some awful iphone photos because my camera fixing will take another week, selecting grout colors at mia's house & seeing dahlia, a hefty starbucks card (thank you mom), lisa's going away party at chez jay, stocking up on pulled pork at lemonade (gross), multiple trips to MB per day,  the let down that was richard simmons being out of town, cover girl presley's gap photo shoot complete with fall leaves & a wind machine...

eyebrow waxing with anastasia, stock piling at the drug store, my mom's current lululemon sweatband obsession, orchid wrist corsages (can you say amazing?), a new iphone, jen's mermaid birthday & the man laying in his own vomit under my car in the parking garage hugging my tire (exciting event), mad men, trying to convince my mom to move to manhattan beach, a super fun dinner at gjelina, howling at walter, too many greyhounds,  complimentary remarks from multiple randoms all over town, my dad's man crush,  bigfoot lodge people watching & singing to pat for his birthday, christy's jersey shore birthday party (looked amazing in photos, wish I had been there), the cutest anthropologie towels & headbands, a sad farewell to steve & jane and almost going to the garlocks for some sun!
