Tim's Birthday Scavenger Hunt

Tim's b-day was fantastic! At midnight when he officially became 31, I appeared from the kitchen singing happy birthday with his favorite coconut cupcake from sprinkles -he made a wish (which easily could have been for me to stop my singing)... Early in the morning I prepped for the big day and got some last minute supplies out on the town. I tied string to his arm while he was sleeping which, when followed, would lead him to the refrigerator which was chalk full gatorade & mexican coca cola in bottles and ice cream pints with an ice cream scooper wrapped up & attached - there was also a riddle / clue (this is where the scavenger hunt began) - he followed the clues all around the house and was led to little presents and more clues (one was looking at my blog with all the pics - which he LOVED! - he was so shocked that I coordinated all his friends & family and thought it was very sneaky but cool!)- another stop on the scavenger hunt was the mailbox (there were lots of bday cards from his family, which made it extra exciting) - the clever clues even had him shower before he could go on...on the last clue he was instructed to come to my work for the finale hint...BUT I had to run to a meeting at that time so I ran by the house and dropped off the last clue - It was a website address...he went to the website and discovered a blog I have been working on for months that chronicles our whole relationship since the day we first met, with all sorts of inside jokes and pictures. I love a good scavenger hunt!
