I remember the time when I…
Thought it was ultra hip to wear a cowboy hat at the pool, would ride my bike to elementary school because I was 300 pounds (actually it was because my Mom said it would clear the cobwebs out of my head), decided it was a good idea to pierce my tongue, accidentally had a date that involved eating steak with a twitchy drug addict, was embarrassed to go to Target and garage sales with my Mom, walked like a dog (behind the dog’s back) in Central Park while Mia laughed, almost had my purse stolen by Mean Marcello on my NYC stoop, smashed my foot into my cabbage patch kid birthday cake when my mom slammed on the brakes minutes before my 8th birthday party, shared a room with Beau - we played super mario bros & duck hunt a lot, always had to be the "Mom" when Emily and I played house, was funny, starred in all the school plays, almost killed my Siamese kitten with a dose of flea medicine meant for a large dog, could cry on cue thanks to UCSB theatre department, thought CPK was so cool, wore underoos and swung from the Magnolia trees on South Trenton with Beau Holly & Phil, had something similar to a beehive and acrylic nails at prom with a cool older guy that drove me in his Dad’s car instead of a limo like everyone else, called myself a duchess & dressed up fancy with my friends to drink tea, was chased by a man with a knife/ fern down a hill at sand dune park, lived above a place where all the NYC hot dog carts were stored, walked 3 blocks to the beach everyday during summer with my parents, was given too many at home perms by my mother, thought costco was lame (boy was I wrong), was selected to be on the Bullocks Teen Board and modeled in fashion shows at the department store, was so nervous about dancing with boys at cotillion, rode the metro with Mia to downtown LA and couldn't get back, retired my blanksy (baby blanket), didn’t care what others thought of me, stayed at the fanciest most expensive hotel EVER in Napa for Mia’s bachelorette, had butterflies in my stomach because I was going on a date to Little Tokyo, talked in a New Jersey accent for an entire year, wore overalls, cast my first movie of the week about an African American girl in a hair contest (good one!), was sooo shy, plagiarized Hillary Clinton's speech and recited it at my high school graduation, only drank Dr. Pepper, picked up some guys on the side of the road and had them paint my apartment (didn’t go so hot), wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, was at the hospital when Presley Garlock was born, spent every waking second with Danielle & John Cooke at Telepictures, had large hot pink streaks in my hair, rode for the first time on a bicycle built for two (not hard to recall since it was 2 weeks ago), saw my Mom cry with joy and jump up and down as my Dad turned onto our new street in California in a Ryder truck (we moved to CA a few weeks before him), floated above myself thanks to Madeleine, couldn't make a move without talking to Mia Danielle and my Mom, had courage to give a eulogy at my Grandma’s funeral, came home from NYC with a keloid on my shoulder, was obsessed with cows in 5th grade, pretended to be a Janet Jackson dancer to get into the Viper Room, sang 'I see your true colors' loudly with a Russian girl in the back of a cab, took the host while chewing gum in church on Easter, made an appearance on the local morning news, got caught in the biggest ice storm ever in Tulsa, ran out of a gas on sunset and got the finger from everyone, threw pennies in class and accidentally hit the teacher's face, posed with a dead fish for a photo shoot, knew the words to the TLC song 'No Scrubs', cried when the “7th Heaven” theme song would come on, celebrated my 31st birthday in a carport and I remember a time when didn't have a blog... actually I don't remember that time. I have blocked it out.

I remember being at the hospital with you when Pres was born- that was such a FUN day! (besides you wanting to find the placenta- ewh) Maybe we should do it again for baby #3?
trying to find the placenta in a trash can is NOT all it's cracked up to be!!!!
great list. loved it.
7th Heaven? Really?
i remember the time when you searched everywhere for a teeny weenie yellow polka dot bikini, i was a senior and you a sophomore and we tried to find the Hollywood Walk of Fame and ended up in Corona and we had to call your dad crying to get directions home, you wore birkenstocks everyday, we had GREASY hair a day after Leeza Gibbons hairstylist did our hair, you thought i was the "cool older girl", we went on a Slim Fast diet at TPX and it lasted on meal, we ordered tartines everyday while I was pregnant, I went on rides 5 mos pregnant to celebrate your birthday on a lunch hour at Universal Studios, we got our 4PYPO and 4NBA license plates on our jettas, you drove all the way to Palm Springs with me and back in a day so I could tryout for Wheel of Fortune and you introduced me to a Baby Fat burger and I lost you $20 at a blackjack table, splitting la scala chopped salads and hella bread and oil for lunches everyday, avoiding the lame 98.7 DJ downstairs ryan seacrest when he kept asking me to lunch, you being my "assistant" at the CAA party, you cheering me on to be a "staff reporter", sneaking around for and finding adult toys while house-sitting TB's house, when i used to post more on my blog than you did, when you named models in the pottery barn kids catalog for presley, ...the list goes on
